I have been working at FanDuel full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great industry, great culture, great people. Not much more you can ask for. Love coming to work every day.

    Cons

Could probably make more money somewhere else but the work atmosphere, culture, and unlimited time off make up for that in my mind

I worked at FanDuel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company atmosphere and everyone is always willing to help you improve. Also, a lot of opportunity to move up in the company if you put in the work.

    Cons

Turnover is high as in any customer support job. Therefore, you must make sure to keep your customer service at a premium at all times.

I worked at FanDuel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very laid back environment. Great benefits.

    Cons

A lot of departments have no idea what the others are doing. Minimal interaction between departments.

Pay is very low and only 10% max increase on salary once a year subject to manager review. No bonus, commissions, etc.

    Advice to Management

Offer bonus/commissions to make employees work harder.

I have been working at FanDuel full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

As this happens to most start ups, FanDuel went through the hyper growth phase which makes it a very unique place to work. The disruptive environment opens up so many opportunities for growth and creativity. With all the unforeseen shifts in the market your role requires you to challenge yourselves in ways you never have before and elevate your skill set to the next level.

FanDuel offers so much more than your basic benefits. Unlimited vacation and flexible work from home days are such great advantages for employees with family responsibilities. Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of snack options, weekly happy hours, game tickets and discounts on gym memberships are just a few other perks.

    Cons

The two main offices are located in Edinburgh and New York.. The time zones and cultural differences can sometimes be challenging in communication.

I have been working at FanDuel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits are great - 100% paid for
    Percentage of gym membership covered
    Unlimited PTO
    Flexible with working from home
    Casual/laid-back work environment
    People are fun
    Fully stocked kitchen with snacks/drinks/beer
    Sports ticket allotment

    Cons

Grew too fast - no reason that a company of this size needs a 50+ marketing team so there are a lot of people trying to do the same thing; not enough clarity around what everyone's roles/responsibilities are
Offices in multiple locations that are very disconnected from one another
Extremely slow engineering team - takes at least a month to see even the smallest changes implemented
    Promotions without raises
Negative media attention causes uncertainty around job security

    Advice to Management

If you're going to ask employees what could be better, actually follow through with communicating the changes that are going to take place.
