I worked at Faraday Future full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Talented and motivated engineers with a common mission. Clear directions. Another important thing I want to say is that the HR department is the best I’ve worked with, always willing to help, even after you left the company.

    Cons

    Cons for being a startup

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work despite the noise

I have been working at Faraday Future full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people, incredible technology and ideas, and talented individuals who, if they had any say over YT, could create a great plan for this organization

    Cons

No understanding of which roles are critical and which aren't (it constantly seems like only a small % of the organization is focused on a successful car launch), mass hiring for roles not currently needed (equally unfair for the talented individuals who left good roles at other companies to come here), and a fundamental lack of strategy for what this company wants to be (for the car and for the organization)

    Advice to Management

This is advice to YT. You are taking this company down with you. Please step down & take your yes men with you. From there, this organization will do what's best for it's bright future. Until then, all advice is useless.

I have been working at Faraday Future full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people are great, both personally and professionally and the work is interesting and challenging.

    Cons

The silly stuff you hear about is mostly true, its hard to want to work for a company that is so reckless with finances and off the wall features. There is questionable job security and at times you feel like you aren't working toward an end goal

I worked at Faraday Future full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people, the company, I loved being there! I can't say anything terrible about the company. You feel that you can grow, that you can actually be happy and (I was) very excited to be there!

    Cons

Funding problems... that is the only really negative thing to say. The funding problems aren't due to Faraday either, so really this isn't a negative about the company.

I worked at Faraday Future full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good pay and benefits.
FF did attract some serious talents who deeply care about what they are doing.

    Cons

Financial troubles - no need to mention. It's all over the news.
FF leadership fails to create an environment for employees to collaborate and execute. It's a weird mixture of open and OEM environment which causes many dramas and unnecessary silos in the company. This is not to mention the clash between the Chinese and US culture.
Managers who came from OEM settings care more about sucking their direct reports' time and energy into their status report vortex than providing support to get things done.
The car electronic is a mess. FF hired many inexperienced electronic designers who have to work long hours with very limited support and guidance. The result is a faulty electronic modules/system which compromise safety and quality. This will cost the company an arm and a leg in the long run and may even kill the brand. Building a luxury brand is always a challenge. It took Lexus nearly 20 years to gain consumers' trust even though many reliable Toyotas had already been on the road.
IT and finance impedes the work flow much more than support. This is not due to the over-worked professionals in these departments. The problem goes all the way to the top, probably money related.
The company plans to move its operation to China. Not sure what this really mean to the career of its US employees.
    Work-life balance is non-existent.
The perks (free lunch, snacks, massage) are only good on the surface. Greasy Chinese food most day. Left over from lunch are used as dinner for employees who work late.
Too few restrooms for the # of people.

    Advice to Management

Put quality and safety, not deadlines, your number one priority. Advocate for the brand and the drivers who spend a fortune on the car. I really wish that FF will be successful. Consumers need more Tesla's competitors. Your work saves the environment and a lot of people's lung.

I worked at Faraday Future full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The vision of the product and what it should be.

    Cons

CEO has no idea how to run a business and just puts his unqualified friends in executive positions so they will tell him what he wants to hear, and do anything he says whether its good for the company or not. They continuously lie to him about how things are going and pretend everything is fine so he won't get mad, but its hurting the company.

Employees are afraid to speak to the truth about issues with leadership, and are often fired in if retribution if they do, particularly if it makes any of his "untouchables" look bad. If you want to do well at Faraday, you have to leave your ethics and conscience at the door and be happy to just say, "yes, great idea, I wish I though of that!" to anything that YT's "untouchables" say. Many (formerly good) people there have just given up because they are scared to do the right thing and they would rather throw the good people under the bus than risk retaliation by YT's unethical Sr. Management.

Don't bother talking to HR because they are also run by YT's "untouchables" and will simply do whatever they say regardless of whether it's ethical or even lawful.

    Advice to Management

This is advice to Evergrande, kick YT out and all of his Sr. management "untouchables" who wouldn't be qualified to be interns at McDonald's, let alone VP's at a world leading startup tech company. Faraday Future won't be successful until this is done.

I worked at Faraday Future full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They tried having a good culture fit, provided subsidized lunches and a cool work environment

    Cons

The company is lead by incompetent leadership that is too full of themselves to actually help the mission. We need companies like FF to move forward and keep going with the renewable energy movement but as long as they keep elevating people with zero experience it will never happen.

Nothing makes sense, the business says one thing but nothing gets done, a lot of wheel spinning for nothing. Seems like nothing ever got accomplished, a lot of "successes" but nothing long term. Super disappointing

    Advice to Management

As long as YT remains in control this company will sink, please resign and let someone new come in and try to salvage what once was a good company.
