    Pros

Had some co workers that were some of the best.

    Cons

Promoting bad managers to higher roles because they are cleaning house. Not only an awful product. But management that does not back their employees. Run if you can. They will be bankrupt soon or sell for pennies and then you have to fight for your job. Awful company

    Unfulfilled potential

    Pros

Get to see a lot of new places, you are in charge of your own schedule and day to day work, working in a cutting edge industry/field. Use of the company vehicle is a nice bonus.

    Cons

The company was extremely disorganized. New ways of reporting the same information were constantly added in the hopes of making organizing easier, but really it just meant the same information would need to be submitted many different times to different inputs. There was basically no training at all and you are left to figure out what to do for various installs/troubleshooting on your own. Turnover was very high so finding someone who really knows the job inside and out is difficult, and what people do have experience were often too busy to pass down their knowledge. The tech just simply didn’t work a lot of the time, but instead of pausing to work out the bugs, the company has already moved onto the next thing, and you are left trying to explain what went wrong to the customer. There was a huge amount of work to do with relatively few people. As the position was salary, no overtime was paid for the many extra hours worked. There is a big disconnect between sales, technicians, and management, and sales/management often made promises that the technicians could not keep. Overall the company could have potential if they were able to take some time out and fix some very serious issues as well as implement some SOPs. Instead there was the constant sense that everyone was just making it up as they went.

Tremendous People and Potential on a ship lost at sea

Dec 3, 2021 - Key Account Manager (KAM)

    Pros

I met some outstanding people at Farmers Edge. The majority of whom are on the “ground level” working with growers. Most employees are very qualified and passionate to bring the best product and experience to the farmer. The product, FarmCommand, is the most complete product on the market, hands down.

    Cons

Management is very disconnected with outrageous goals and expectations. Mid-management is stuck between a rock and a hard place and struggles to manage the stress and pressure so it is passed down the food chain. Upper management is nothing but arrogant bullies who somehow swindled their way into those high ranking positions. The Canadian office calls the shots. That’s it and that’s all. There is very very little input from or consideration given to US feedback.

    Pros

People that I have worked with for the past 3+ years are great. Everyone wants the company to be successful.

    Cons

As a whole culture is broken between teams and leadership. Hoping new changes will fix that.
