    Great environment to learn and expand your knowledge on Jewelry and Watch repair. Awsome people.

    Cons

    People always rushing when it takes time to do good work.

    Advice to Management

    Need to understand good work takes. Time and that no one person can do it all

    I have been working at Fast-Fix Jewelry and Watch Repair part-time

    Pros

    Tight-knit "family" environment. Flexible schedule and enjoyable work. Fast paced and fairly simple repairs on a daily basis. On slow days there is time to work on personal projects.

    Cons

    Poor organization and clutter causes confusion and lacking in hefficiency when trying to locate items. Often there is not a "manager" on site to help resolve conflicts or answer questions. Pay is very low for the skills required and duties performed.

    Advice to Management

    Need to work on organization of the jobs, tools, facility, to reduce confusion. More care is needed in displaying and presenting the retail merchandise.

    Pros

    Some of the things I like most are the Flexible hours, interesting work, easy dress code, job ownership, varied sitting and standing work. Easy on the body.

    Cons

    Do not expect any of positive feed back. Must be willing to continually learn and expand capabilities.

    Advice to Management

    Recognition of a job well done, or even a good effort would go a long way. Work on ability to trust people.

    Pros

    The feeling of accomplishment every time you hand a customer an item that you fixed with your own hands; medical; dental; 401k. If you like to fix small things such as Watches, cell phones/tables, Jewelry, Eyeglasses, key fobs, they also do engraving and custom jewelry design.

    Cons

    Management, Mall hours takes up you're entire day,

    Advice to Management

    If an Employee is unsatisfactory management or not they should be delta with As if they where any other employee. And the management should be held accountable for their actions.

    Pros

    Franchise based company so some owners are personal, down to earth and willing to pay for employees that will work hard and bring talent to them.

    Cons

    A revolving door of sales or as most call them "watch techs". Skilled staff, i.e: watch makers, jewelers, managers are regarded highly. But your sales/battery changer position person is completely replaceable. Though that can't be too harsh of a criticism since the retail sales market is exactly that to begin with.

    Advice to Management

    Do more to retain the sales staff worth keeping

    -Wasn't stressful
    -Wasn't busy
    -Wasn't worry some
    -No micro managing
    -VERY laid back
    -Got to learn from Jewelers
    -Easy company to learn from to get your foot into the door in jewelry

    Cons

    -No benefits
    -Not a lot of employees to be able to cover you when you go on vacation
    -Unproffesional at times
    -People always think their jewelry is the best and it's really... Not. (So a lot of stuck up customers)
    -Some Jewelers you work with are great, others are lazy and make up things for you to say so they won't have to do their job, and YOU have to tell the customer

    Advice to Management

    Hire better Jewelers that WANT TO WORK.

    Pros

    Customers are very sweet & bring in the most amazing pieces. The jewelers are EXTREMELY talented.

    Cons

    Corporate did not want to own stores, had poor communication, unorganized corporate office. Absolutely no benefits of any kind unless a franchisee decides to offer them.

    Advice to Management

    Open a location near you & run it for a while. When you have solid leadership in a store, leave it alone. Turning over your store managers every 3months reflects poorly on upper level mgt.
