I worked at FedEx Office full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great working with regular TMs to help in their career development. Benefits are amazing and make staying a real plus.

    Cons

The HR team can be political and at times manipulative. There are definite "in" groups and navigiting them can be a bit tricky.

    Advice to Management

See above. If you work hard and stay out of the game playing (like most corporations) it can be a very rewarding experience.

I have been working at FedEx Office full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Not overtly heavy like fedex ground or express, on the road on your own all day. If you ask for overtime you'll get it.

    Cons

Long distance deliveries no centered hub/distribution center. Traffic will test you everyday all day patience is key. Dispatchers will send you on cross county pick up/ deliveries.

    Advice to Management

Money is the best motivator. Even a 100-200$ bonus will be a huge incentive on drivers to keep up safety, and vehicle maintenance.

I worked at FedEx Office full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The experience working here all depends on the Center Manager. You'll easily build relationships with repeat customers who do shipping on a regular basis.

    Cons

The pay is not so great.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire lazy people. I found myself alone at the shipping counter with lines of inpatient people waiting to ship on a frequent basis.

I have been working at FedEx Office full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Other team members are great. We all work together to handle the intense demands of our busy center. Once you learn the job , which takes many months, you can have a good sense of accomplishment each day, because you will do a lot every day.

    Cons

Pay Does not reflect the amount of skill, knowledge, and responsibility that are expected of you. You will be a shipping agent, a printing technician, a cashier, a sales person, a stock clerk, and a receptionist. Especially difficult is the expectation of being a sales person, always trying to upsell and add more items to each order. Which you get no additional compensation for just more work to fill your already busy day.

    Advice to Management

Pay should increase much faster than the meager yearly merit raises. You are taking advantage of highly skilled employees.
