I worked at FedEx Office full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A step above retail, requires real customer service and problem solving skills. Pretty good benefits: i.e. cheap healthcare, etc.

    Cons

Kinkos used to treat its employees very well; when Fedex took over, they started maked everything very rigid and corporate. The upper levels seem to think the workload/skills required are on par with basic retail.

    Advice to Management

Recognize that the job is more like IT/helpdesk than retail. Also, raises for strong employees should be at least cost of living, not at most.

    Pros

    Great Benefits. Great co-workers.

    Cons

Schedule was constantly changing. Customers were very rude. Corporate kept adding more things to learn to your workload. Underpaid for what you for the work you put in.

I have been working at FedEx Office full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The people, the hours, the independence, the flexibility

    Cons

Asked an awful lot of, so many different metrics by which you are measured, you're given a financial quota and revenue growth to go after, but you are not eligible for same incentives as others whose accounts you are often helping to acquire, growing and supporting. You can feel like a secretary for those teammates you support

    Advice to Management

Better incentivize the position (monitarily or make it eligible for President's Club), change the title to
    more accurately reflect the
    responsibilities
