    Pros

Fairly flexible hours, IF you are willing to be flexible as well. Requests are handled fairly, decent pay for service industry. Great team atmosphere. Excellent benefits including health coverage and full match (up to first 5%) in 401(k) contributions.

    Cons

When business slows down, hours get cut. But will rebound with business level. It can get stressful when the main business hours are over, and shifts get scaled down in staffing. As all areas of center are still operational. You could be running between self-service, shipping and sales counter for extended periods.

    Advice to Management

Get a bit tougher with day shift flexibility. Why have 3/4 of the staff on the floor between 11AM-2PM, and only 3 people between 5PM-8PM? This makes it excessively difficult to insure all meal breaks are completed before it is only the closer.

I have been working at FedEx Office full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Seriously conscious about health whether to keep more employees or to reduce work incidents I'm not sure. Decently fair depending on who is management. Good insurance and vacation benefits and to part time as well. If you like to learn there are many opportunities including optional training. Good starting pay only compared to other retail places.

    Cons

It seems like too much work for the pay and continually asks more of each employee. Due to the way the company is organized getting into corporate is nearly impossible. You'll never get all of your work done and you'll be made to feel like you're letting someone down or failing.

    Advice to Management

Understand that when more is asked of employees and no incentive added (pay increase) employees may begin to feel disappointment and other negative feelings which generally makes them want to look for another job.

I worked at FedEx Office full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits, vacation time, paid holidays, sick pay.
You learn a lot! If you love making customers happy like I do... It can be a lot of fun helping people with ideas, when you have time :( ....

    Cons

Way over worked for the pay for lower level employees. Always changing just when you get used to the new way it changes. Never to make things easier although its their Intentions... Becomes very frustrating if you work in a busy small center alone.... Way to much work just to print one copy or ship one package. Which leaves customers angry because they can't understand why it takes so long. Makes for employees getting yelled at by customers turns into poor customer service. Company needs to find better ways to be efficient so team member can deliver the "purple promise"

    Advice to Management

Easy, if you really want it and you are a "Yes I can" type person about everything. And don't voice your opinion to management about new policy's because they have no control. Remember they are just "Yes I can people" ....Mostly.
