I worked at FedEx full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The company has incredible benefits, is great on a resume, and has a global footprint

    Cons

The thinking of upper management is stale at best and they allow some of their best minds to atrophy.

Pay in the sales organization not on par with other similarly sized organizaitons

I have been working at FedEx (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of the benefits are pretty good. Our location's team members are also very dedicated. I enjoy working with them a lot. My management team is average.

    Cons

Work-life balance is definitely the biggest con. Not many initiatives have been taken to better balance the two. I'd like to see more attention paid to ensuring workers have the time they need to balance their personal lives. The job is important but there still needs to be better work life balance provided. For that reason, I think I should be able to leave only a half star in the work-blance rating category

    Advice to Management

Better work-life balance is the main advice. FedEx puts their workers through grueling work days but no very much time off is given. Vacation and sick time here need to improve. Some of the other advice would be to upgrade the vehicles.

I have been working at FedEx full-time

    Pros

Plenty of opportunity to move up. Always stresses safety above all things.

    Cons

Job security is very little to none. New hires are always quitting, can't keep people to stay there. Communication on important changes can be lacking at time

  11. "FedEx Inside Sales Account Executive"

I worked at FedEx full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Really fun people with a company that really does care about its employees. If you're willing to move, FedEx will treat you right and you'll move up.

    Cons

If you aren't willing to move, there isn't a lot you can do. Your bonuses are based on the performance of your territory, which is out of your hands to a large extent.

    Advice to Management

Do a better job of providing local opportunities.
