Best reasons are working for a company that values there employees and as long as they are willing to move up. Depends how deep down and high spirited towards the job they appreciates. Will succeed within the company in any position.

I have been working at FedEx (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of the benefits are pretty good. Our location's team members are also very dedicated. I enjoy working with them a lot. My management team is average.

    Cons

Work-life balance is definitely the biggest con. Not many initiatives have been taken to better balance the two. I'd like to see more attention paid to ensuring workers have the time they need to balance their personal lives. The job is important but there still needs to be better work life balance provided. For that reason, I think I should be able to leave only a half star in the work-blance rating category

    Advice to Management

Better work-life balance is the main advice. FedEx puts their workers through grueling work days but no very much time off is given. Vacation and sick time here need to improve. Some of the other advice would be to upgrade the vehicles.

    I worked at FedEx full-time

    Pros

Trained and worked from home. Set up was very easy including free equipment and utilities. Tons of company perks and good benefits.

    Cons

You are trained to basically lie to customers. Training is not long enough and after training you are just thrown in not fully prepared. Not very flexible with employee schedules, your stuck in the shift you were hired in for at least a year. The company doesn't seem to care about the customers as much as being the best in the market. Dealing with unhappy customers 24/7 trumps the perks. I had to quit just to be happy again.

    Advice to Management

It's not management. The foundation in which the customer service forum was built is faulty for this company. And we all know what happens to a building structure with faulty foundation.
