    Pros

I enjoy serving others and protecting our way of life for our government. It is a privilege to serve with a great diversity of people.

    Cons

Biggest challenge for me is military deployment away from family and friends. Another challenge is working for bad and selfish self seeking leaders who abuse their power.

    Advice to Management

Serve and remain loyal those who serve for you. Build your subordinates mentally and keep them trained and educated for the mission success of the organization and great morale

I worked at Federal Government full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Consistent steady work. Regular work hours, time off, holidays, and work from home were the benefits of working there.

    Cons

Employees are kept around despite productivity. Some employees are moved up just to get them out of positions they aren't good at. Production and quality are always higher than can be met due to workload demands. Mandatory overtime can be in effect due to current politics.

    Advice to Management

Reward those who go above and beyond what is needed since there are not many ways to reward those employees. Also because there are many who are there just to put in time, not improve the workload.
