I have been working at Federal Reserve Board as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The work you do makes a difference
    Pay is good
Lots of opportunities to learn new skills through free training programs

    Cons

Not enough young people for my liking, to be fair I was 20 and the age range went from 28- 50 plus
Depending on which division you work in your experience can either be amazing or brutally aweful - I loved my internship and had a lot of important IT projects to work on, but my friend in a different division had a weeks worth of work over 3 months. He did nothing for most of it and hated it. Depending on what division you end up in you'll either love it or hate it.
