    Pros

Collegial, motivated and technology driven culture. Everyone here wants to see their colleagues succeed. People are friendly to one another, not just once in a while, but always. I feel supported by my manager. I'm always encouraged to try new things and expand my skill set. I wake up excited to come to work everyday. I don't think I've felt that way in years, and it's thanks to this wonderful firm who cares about it's employee's.

    Cons

Nothing that I can think of thus far.

I have been working at Fenwick & West full-time

    Pros

There are a lot of really great people who work at Fenwick. The BeWell benefits for health and fitness are awesome.

    Cons

Fenwick is sometimes criticized for being cheap. It can be frustrating to look at your paycheck after you see how much money they pay for events etc.

    Advice to Management

The culture is great at Fenwick. The pay is good but not great. Working here is definitely a good experience overall.

    Pros

Good benefits including a gym and fitness classes. I feel that my boss values my opinion.

    Cons

Long hours and weekend work. Extremely busy and never feel like I'm ahead of the curve

    Advice to Management

Some groups run with a very low number of employees. That means that you are working harder and longer than is needed. Adding employees would speed project work and create a more reasonable work-life balance.

I have been working at Fenwick & West full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The culture is great. The pay is great. The firm definitely appreciates the staff. I wouldn't work for any other firm.

    Cons

The typical cons for every litigation department in any firm - when it's busy - work consumes you but when it's slow, you worry about your billable time.

I have been working at Fenwick & West full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Fenwick makes their staff feel valued. We're a busy firm and we work hard, but our contributions are recognized and valued as much as that of the attorneys. The people are great and there's a lot of opportunity for career development (lots of trainings and educational programs). The firm also makes diversity a priority. The building is beautiful (with some awesome perks - game rooms, bocce ball court, on-site gym) and the location in downtown Mountain View is awesome.

    Cons

Fenwick is busy, so we are busy. We can be stretched thin sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Continue holding quarterly Town Hall meetings - everybody appreciates the candidness and the opportunity to have all our questions answered.
