I worked at Ferguson Enterprises full-time

    Pros

This company has a really good schedule for its employees. Weekends were off, as well as most holidays. I was able to get off at 5pm and have time in my life to do things I enjoyed. Holiday parties and events were alot of fun.

    Cons

Sometimes work tasks can become repetitive and mundane, but that's with most jobs.

    Advice to Management

    Encourage employees to give feedback.

I have been working at Ferguson Enterprises full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Coming for a vendor of Ferguson for 7+ years, extremely pleased with my move so far. Almost 2 years in and Ferguson has been great. I have enjoyed the day to day challenges with On the Sales side. Ferguson has an understanding of their employees, listens and takes action. Extremely vested in their employees and realize we are their greatest asset. The growth and opportunity with Ferguson is tremendous and I look forward to what the future holds with hard work and dedication.

    Cons

Benefits although my last employer, benefits did not come out of pocket so I have nothing to truly gauge what makes up “great benefits!”

    Advice to Management

Continue to stay vested in your employees!

I worked at Ferguson Enterprises full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If hired you have what’s called flex time. They have a 401k plan. You only have to take a 20-30 minute lunch. Can listen to podcast or whatever music you want, you can even watch shows while you work as long as you meet the daily quota and not have many errors. You don’t have to dress up to go to work, they allow jeans and flip flops. Very fun atmosphere, a lot of fun get togethers.

    Cons

It’s very demanding and there is a lot to learn. They will give you a quota of how many invoices need to be entered daily and you can have more than 2 errors a day. This may be too stressful for new comers.

    Advice to Management

There should be additional universal training that employees receive when they go to the floor. There were so many short cuts that I wasn’t aware of until months later.
