I worked at Ferraro Foods full-time

    Pros

Nice clean warehouse. Understanding management. If you do your work, you will be fine and the days will go by quickly. Free lunch provided every day.

    Cons

They should have more opportunity to train and teach new workers about the warehouse. Don't really get to voice your opinion to managers.

    Advice to Management

Have more opportunities to talk with employees individually. Other than that, if you do what they say to do, you will have no issues.

I worked at Ferraro Foods full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

free lunch free lunch free lunch....did I say free lunch? well let me say it again....free lunch....that's it!

    Cons

hostile environment. be willing to sell your soul to the devil....no joking. it's all about the bad that you do and how moronic you are. and you will be talked to disrespectfully in front of EVERYBODY!!!! don't ever expect kudos for the good things you do....well it depends on who you do good for....wink wink. you will be asked to do "things" unethical behind closed doors and will be made to feel that if you don't do it....fill in the blanks.... well put it to you this way....their attorney's office is on site.... let me stop....before I further implicate myself....lol

    Advice to Management

treat people the way you want to be treated. employees are not robots. they are human and if you cut them they bleed. don't talk down to them and treat them as non-human. you are not God and your employees are not your disciples. wake up call....don't think that the things that "go on" (wink wink) are going on without people realizing....people do talk and have been talking. don't ask your employees to do "something" that you wouldn't do yourself....wait....scratch that....you WOULD do it....you already sold your soul to the devil and being well compensated.

I worked at Ferraro Foods full-time

    Pros

no background checks no drug test. Awesome if you're an Xcon or a tweeker. Great place to work if you're a pack a day smoker.

    Cons

You have to deal with stoners and junkies working the 3rd shift warehouse. These are the employees who pick your order and pack your truck.

    Advice to Management

Drug test all employees. Start with the shipping/warehouse. Stop bait and switch,
Remember it's the little customers that make or break a market.

    Pros

They do pay employees a small wage.

    Cons

    Hostile work environment
    Unfulfilled commitments.

"Training is unnecessary because I know more than anyone in the business," Quote from a top exec.
The entire company lives in constant fear of a walk by visit from one of the least appreciative, most demanding, and untrustworthy of CEO's.If you are family, you are "in." If you are Italian, you have a 50/50 shot lasting a year and maintaining sanity.
All others need not apply unless they are masochists.

    Advice to Management

Retire before you are fined, sued, indicted, etc.....
