    I worked at Ferrero full-time

    Pros

They used to provide great benefits, but now they are just okay. Good Work/Life Balance.. Amazing products. Managers are usually understanding to family problems.

    Cons

No career growth and opportunities. No development opportunities. Staff functions are not supported by management. They rather let you sink then get involved in the daily problems which can only be straightened out by management. The IT Department is a mess and upper management does not challenge them to improve.
Salaries are below the market rate.

    Advice to Management

Remember to support your current employees not only the ones you favor. Clean house at the management level, including HR. Listen to your staff and consider their opinions . Help them straighten out the problems so they can do a better job. Involve yourself in the daily fires so you have a clue about the challenges your employees are facing.

I have been working at Ferrero full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company has recently offered flex-time, giving the option to work from 8-4, 9-5, or 10-6. Great brands.

    Cons

The company pays 25-30% below market value, they have promised employees raises and have not kept their word, they have promised temps full time jobs and not kept their word, management is completely disconnected from what employees do on a day-to-day basis, there are conflicting goals within the company, and limited resources, and employees are held accountable for it all.

new CEO - new location to be announced, lots of activity and energy around improving culture and finding better ways to address obvious divides between depts. Better internal communication through more frequent Town Halls thanks to CEO and HR

    Cons

entitlement culture needs to be broken, old time employees need to move on and make room for new energy. too much complaining

    Advice to Management

stay the course, focus on change management; change takes patience

I have been working at Ferrero full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

A steady paycheck. Absolutely no other pros.

    Cons

All the recent positive reviews have been fabricated by HR and HR's employed family and friends. Perfectly in line with the rest of the lies HR dishes out, like the promised changes and improvements.

    Advice to Management

Quit, let the adults take over.

    Pros

HR has taken the initiative to engage all departments to attend group discussions. Finally, someone is trying to enhance the corporation's understanding of the employees needs. It's refreshing to see interest being placed back into the people.

    Cons

The implementation of some of these changes will take time.

    Advice to Management

    Your support is needed.

I have been working at Ferrero full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Ferrero offers a very good benefit package and has flexible hours.

    Cons

Over the past several years, Ferrero has drastically increased its presence in the US.

The company has been experiencing “growing pains” however the important aspect is that Ferrero is growing! Management may ask employees to multi-task or in some instances an individual maybe responsible to oversee various areas of the organization.
All of the above is common throughout a mid-sized company as long as the end result is to eventually create new layers and support functions.

Recent changes in the HR department confirm the positive outlook for Ferrero USA.

    Advice to Management

Remember to always support your current employees so they can lead the new ones.....

    I worked at Ferrero full-time

    Pros

Pockets of good people, fun brands, 9-5 every day (if you're into that)

    Cons

Leadership is incompetent/insecure/egotistical, everyone is stuck in old ways of doing things, resistant to change, aren't able to have your voice heard or they'll view you as overbearing, no learning or development opportunities, zero career pathing.

Bottom line: this is not the place for you if you're smart, driven, motivated, and looking to learn and advance your career.

    Advice to Management

Clean house at the management level (and HR) to offset the brains at the middle manager level.
