    Pros

The hotel is located in a beautiful area and city, views from work are always great. Great people to work with, very young. Free food in the cafeteria was nice.

    Cons

Very corporate, lots of getting yelled at by guests, not enjoyable. Hospitality can be great but not in a corporate setting like this where the hotel needs lots of work.

    Pros

Amazing location and the coworkers are great. I was a server at the Set (bar area) and it was a good experience.

    Cons

Management doesn't pay attention to the set and it was oftentimes under stocked and no one was around to solve certain problems so you learned to solve problems yourself

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the needs of the Set!

I worked at Fess Parker's Doubletree Resort full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's across the street from the beach so that's nice. Employees all seem to get along and it is a fun environment. Guests are generally happy when they are on vacation.

    Cons

There is a lack of communication from managers. It is owned by Hilton so it has a very corporate feel. Food in the cafeteria is terrible. It is not fun dealing with unhappy guests as you are often blamed for the poor condition of the hotel.
