I have been working at Festo full-time

      Pros

Good working environment and Managers are not very strict. People are good.

      Cons

Fewer opportunities to grow and learn and that's the reason I am looking for another job opportunities because I am eligible for the high-end job.

      Advice to Management

Try to give opportunities to learn and grow within your company instead of hiring a random person from outside

I have been working at Festo for more than 2 years

      Pros

Clean, Climate controlled environment-PTO time and insurance OK-Most leads and associates are pretty decent people. If you want a nice schedule work in the production area, not the logistics area. Now read below for reality.

      Cons

Mid management just puppets. Upper management in most cases want to just show up, sit in offices, go to meetings and then go home. You never know until the last couple of hours if you’re going to get home on time. You must stay in the logistics area until all orders are done. Do not care about work life balance. HR is the worst. You don’t even know they exist and never see them unless they are coming in to work or going...

      I worked at Festo full-time

      Pros

      Good Benefits, nice co workers.

      Cons

Unstable environment after moving into rented space and liquidating their Hauppauge NY assets / properties. Future goal appears to move employees out of NY to Ohio. Very minimal production is left in NY.

      Advice to Management

      Better communication with employees.

I worked at Festo full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

Great German company and good benefits. Good people to work with and PTO structure is good. Growing in sales and aggressive plan.

      Cons

Leadership needs help. All about press not about improving. Consultants all over bringing ideas from the none computer days. Not In touch with what is going on in areas. New structure not working and operations support has no production experience. Big trust issues with so called interim changes

      Advice to Management

Get in touch with the real issues.

I worked at Festo for more than 2 years

        Pros

Great product offering, decent benefits, competitive compensation

        Cons

Highly political, "old boys club" mentality, unrealistic expectations, inconsistent & conflicting go-to-market strategy

        Advice to Management

More transparent & honest KPI based evaluation process, improved middle management oversight to reduce political environment & favoritism. Senior & middle management needs to accept poor decisions and take action rather than "CYA" policies. So much potential ...
