A good job if you love cats, dogs and other critters
May 16, 2023 - Pet Sitter in Seattle, WARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
This is the happiest I have been with a job in a very long time. I don't have to hustle to find clients or deal with anything on the back end - I get to focus on taking care of the pets. The client care coordinators and the owner are easy to work with and actually care that the employees are happy. They are always working to streamline things to make life easier. If you love animals, are reliable and can write good journals of your visits you can absolutely succeed in this job and make great tips, too.
Cons
Working on holidays and in inclement weather isn't my favorite part of the job. They never force anyone to work when it's unsafe, but the team pulls together as best we can to cover each other and make sure the pets don't go hungry & dogs get let out. The pay won't make you rich but it's not bad for a part-time job. You can't focus too much on the percentage you get vs what the clients are charged - someone else is handling the marketing, billing, collections and client communication for me, so I don't mind it. You do get 100% of your tips, and a lot of clients tip really well when you do a good job and show via pictures and journals how much you care about their pets.

4 Years Behind The Scenes
Mar 21, 2023 - Management in Seattle, WARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- We recently made the switch to employees, which I find to be a BIG win. - Although we are remote, it's easy to feel like I am "part" of something by building relationships with my coworkers. I would love to do more of this. I wouldn't want to spend my time working for any other company. - Every day is a learning and growing opportunity! I love my team, and it fills my cup to be able to help others - both furry and non-furry - on a daily basis. - The owner is always available for questions and support. Tamara is very passionate about her business, and it shows through her involvement. - Fetch does offer many benefits. They just may not look like what an enormous corp company would have. We are bonded and insured, licensed, the company provides marketing, generates leads, has an entire coordinating team, etc.!
Cons
- As a member of management, it is impossible to address or fix a problem we are unaware of. I wish I would have had the opportunity to address any issues or confusion directly with some of the team members I have worked with in the past. - Sometimes, I feel the position isn't taken seriously, and it can be frustrating. Some who apply are looking for a "filler" job, and this is not it. While there is flexibility in what we do, there is a big commitment and responsibility with each service we take on and complete. - I don't get to see my team in person every day, but I can check in on them virtually. :)

Pros
The initial training is okay, however not for $80k and trust me you aren’t getting anything else of value for your initial investment
Cons
They won’t protect your territory, it’s just a free for all. They will take a 22% royalty from all received income, including your sitters tips. In the last 12 months they have provided maybe 10 Facebook posts worth of marketing, most of it junk and they provide no other marketing support. They company they force you to use for google ads will not do their job and you will get no value for your money. The contact center is a mess, the last time I attempted to call in I had to call five times to even get to a voicemail box, trust me you will do anything you can to make sure your customers do not have to call in meaning you will hire an employee to do the job you’re already paying them thousands a month to do. They are constantly combative in internal emails if we attempt to voice these concerns or problems and will happily threaten you or vilify you publicly to ensure others don’t speak out.

Top Notch!
Apr 17, 2023 - Client Care Coordinator in Seattle, WARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I've been working as a Client Care Coordinator with Fetch for 1 year. Fetch! is a wonderful company to work for and one of the things that impresses me most is the owners dedication to transparency with both her employees and clients. - I feel heard and a part of team where I am fully supported in my role. - I am able to collaborate extensively with my team members, which I really enjoy. - Fantastic work/life balance. - Tamara, the owner, is supportive, offers guidance, and has been available any time I have needed her. She is dedicated to making sure we all succeed and have the resources needed to do the best job possible. - Involvement in collaboration and ideas. - Management leads by example. - Plenty of training/learning opportunities.
Cons
Since my role is remote, I've not yet been able to meet my team in person, which is a bummer, but I do get plenty of face time with them virtually!

Cons
will push you to do more than you would like while advertising as highly flexible

Pros
You get to be micro managed by the owner named Jay
Cons
They give you 1/4 of the pay that they actually receive from clients They don’t trust any of the employees because they think you’ll steal their clients They will overwork you if you let them while they are comfortable sitting at home They want you to write lengthy reviews every single visit and take pictures every single visit
