    Pros

    Great opportunities to work on cutting edge technologies. Challenges always keep coming and changing, to keep up with the latest mobile OS’s. Cloud delivery model allows you to stay very close to the customer.

    Cons

    Weekend work is sometimes required, but you do have the flexibility to disappear during the week to offset.

    Advice to Management

    Keep investing it top notch talent to keep the product growing.

    Pros

    It's IBM, technically. Fiberlink was bought by IBM in 2013. The sad thing is though that the acquisition isn't 100% complete so the company culture isn't that of IBM (so I've heard).

    Cons

    Where to start? This place was a hot mess from beginning to end. They sell you a bag of goods during the interview process and then flip a 180 when you start the job. It's crap. Their turnover is so high so I'm not the only one. Unless you know you are a sales person and a good one, don't take this job. This is not the place to "learn". You won't make much money and will risk being shown the door quickly.

    Advice to Management

    Hire people that are a better fit for the role - your turnover is super high and it's costing you. Once you get them in. Train them so they can be successful- preferably months before you put them on an action plan. Show employees that they are more than just work horses and act like you care about them as people.

    A great place to grow and learn new technologies. They literally used every piece of tech you could think of while I was there.

    Cons

    They put a lot of work on few people. A very efficient environment, but this also means the best people lasted while the weak were let go.

    Advice to Management

    None really. Just recognize your people for their hard work.

    Good leadership, good training, great technical and sales support. Awesome casual and rewarding environment. Young talented team of professionals. Free pizza on Fridays!

    Cons

    Stop ordering pizza from wherever you get it from - it's not good.

    Advice to Management

    Stay clear on goals and direction. Continue to communicate early and often.

    Pros

    The people are fun and warm and a great team to work with. They are helpful and knowledgeable. The management team are very supportive.

    Flexible work schedule. It is great to be able to work from home once a week. Or not have to kill yourself by driving in snow/ice by opting to work from home during a snow storm.

    The pay is really good, and the benefits are great.

    Cons

    Horrible training. This job is definitely not for everyone. You have to already have an IT background to ensure you are not completely lost. They pretty much throw you in and though they are helping you answer questions it does feel like it's sink or swim.

    Within a week, no more than 2 weeks, you are answering phones, emails, and chats all at the same time with little knowledge about the product. It can be a bit overwhelming.

    However, the people there are great and very helpful, so it's somewhat impossible to sink. But you definitely feel like you are sinking/drowning everyday. It will most likely get better when you finally understand everything. But until then a very intense position.

    Advice to Management

    I recommend coming up with a new hire training program and giving employees at least 3 weeks to a month before having them work on everything at once.

    Pros

    -Awesome Location in Center City, occupying the 20th floor which makes for great views of the city
    -Most of the AE's are goodpeople, and are the only ones that try to make a positive team atmosphere
    -Having IBM on your resume will open doors down the line in your career
    -Sales Managers care about your success
    -Exposure to the Channel and C-Level Execs.
    -Relaxed work hours and PTO policy

    Cons

    -Like other reviews have mentioned, unless you are a "chosen one" or "favorite" you will not get leads or opportunities
    -Salary is way to low, which is why they are now just hiring kids out of college with no real experience in IT Sales
    -Revolving door, each day I came in someone left and someone new started
    -Upper Management is misleading and keeps sales force in the dark
    -Cold calling is an archaic form of selling, and the market is so saturated it is impossible to make goals
    -Work environment is negative, as the experienced Reps are bitter because of the way leads and opportunities are handled
    -No upward mobility, make a bunch of calls for a year if you can make it that long, and get a better Job elsewhere

    Advice to Management

    -Spend time and money on developing the talented and experienced Reps you have, you won't retain people that way
    -Allow everyone to get an equal opportunity at succeeding, not just the "favorites"
    -Keep Sales updated on Product Elevations, not just the Technical Team

    Free lunch Friday's and a great team to work with and all the tools needed to get the job done effectively.

    Cons

    IBM acquisition has made getting the job done harder than ever. Lack of communication from upper management and frequent unprofessional sexual jokes.

    Pay your talent more before they jump ship
