    Pros

Career advancement is available if you work hard. Pay is above average. Great team of people.

    Cons

When it's busy, it can be hectic. People tend to overreact to small issues.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing but with a more even keel. When you get crazed your people do as well and that leads to mistakes.

    Pros

    Pay and Benefits average

    Cons

Management is horrible. It is a club of egotistical guys that act like they know what they are doing. No management style whatsoever. I honestly couldn’t believe a single one. Marketing management is a joke. It’s sad that this is what our tax dollars are paying for. Yes,their revenue is mostly from tax dollars. I almost forgot. HR department is an even bigger joke.

    Advice to Management

Take a real look at middle management and what they are really doing or more like not doing. A lot of wasted money

I worked at Fidelis Care full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good salary , company goals and objectives are par with New Yorkers Values

    Cons

Big mistake made by father and upper management with Centene merger. We believe that everything that archived by Fidelis regarding fighting salary inequality and try to close the gap for women to get to more upper management position will be gone. Centene values are not New Yorkers progressive values and already the changes in policies are hurting all the good things that Fidelis was doing in the community across the state. Employees will be leaving by the bulk and woman in upstate region will more discriminating to access upper management position. Centene ideology and human resources policies like how common law partner are strip of out of their healthcare benefits is just wrong. 2020 forecast for Cetene in NY is not good. Hopefully they can turn around and make the changes necessary to make things better not worse.

    Advice to Management

Dont fix what is not broken work. Take a look at what Fidelis has done and improve your employees benefits to attract the best human workforce in the state. You want diversity in upper management positions specifically in the Albany area woman are not represented . We all believe that Town halls are waste of time if employees can have a way to access upper management without fear.
