I have been working at Fidelis Care full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Will be presented with new challenges to keep you busy and grow your skillset. There are individuals who are willing to help you and are great people to work with.

    Cons

Lack of clear direction, coordination and focus among some of the executives. Some units don't exactly play well with others and are not collaborative in cross department projects.

    Advice to Management

The staff can always tell if you truly care about something or not.

I have been working at Fidelis Care full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fantastic schedule; no nights or weekends, many major holidays off. Very supportive management. They understand that sometimes life gets in the way of work, and that isn't held against you. A promote/transfer from within culture.

    Cons

Training sometimes leaves much to be desired. Many unknowns going into the Centene transaction.

    Advice to Management

Don't sell out your values come the new year.

I have been working at Fidelis Care full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most supervisors are helpful, overtime available love being able to work 50 hours a week! Large work space! Great coworkers! free coffee! Vending machines! Huge cafeteria! I like knowing that i can apply outside of my department after i hit my year!

    Cons

Break time 20 mins including bathroom breaks! Supervisors can tend to concentrate more on a negative survey you had from a member rather than all the positive ones. Benefits are changing in 2019 due to being taken over by Centene and there are now deductible plans to choose from. Some supervisors are not helpful but then some are as you work there you find out which ones are approachable and stay away from the ones who are not and make you feel dumb when you ask a question. Parking is ridiculous! Some people do not get the support needed from their supervisors.

    Advice to Management

Member service reps are not the only ones you should be worried about when it comes to doing their job, team leads should not be told to get into the que when they should be available to help their team...

    Pros

Pay was somewhat good, but "raises" were laughably pathetic!

    Cons

So many but FAVORTISM AND IMMATURITY RUN RAMPANT

    Advice to Management

Micro mgmt and horrifying treatment of employees made this place so dreadful I felt physically ill before going to work...the only way to get a sup position is to be so far up a directors you know what you only see brown. The last 3 months were a living hades thanks to an employee that had been there from the beginning DJ...one of the most evil, hateful people I have ever met, ugly inside and out.

With Centene takeover, many unknowns to ponder

    Advice to Management

Wake up and smell the coffee, promote the hardworking employees based on output not by ethnic affiliation and stop running Fidelis like it's a mom and pop shop.
