    Pros

Coworkers, can be a fun, creative atmosphere

    Cons

Can't really trust anyone. Some procedures should be formal.

    Pros

Gave you a laptop, parking permits, a gate key for the office

    Cons

Management weren't interactive. Even when I poured my desire into really being successful & moving up. Management didn't initiate any further training. Coworkers had attitude when you ask questions. Training was taught once and they threw you out to the wolves

    Advice to Management

Be interactive with a new employee. Show concern and interest in new employees in training. Ask if there's anything you all can help with. & be consistent

    Pros

The work is somewhat interesting if you do not mind being micro-managed and second guessed at every turn. It's a paycheck.

    Cons

Management has no loyalty to its employees. There are regular terminations solely for cost savings purposes. They will not hesitate to terminate someone if they believe that they can hire a replacement at a lower wage.

    Advice to Management

Employees are an asset. If you show some loyalty to them they may show more loyalty to you. Please keep in mind the destruction that you are causing in people's lives just to save a couple of dollars.

    Pros

Good pay and hours are corporate. Substantial autonomy over case load of 32 cases for each attorney.

    Cons

Erratic management. Favoritism is definitely the norm and raises are 2% every other year. Bonuses are non-existent.

    Advice to Management

    Fire yourself.

    Pros

Salary is decent. Work itself is a nice challenge.

    Cons

    - Claim overload
    - New management in Jax is terrible

    Advice to Management

Stop playing favorites. An atmosphere of constant threat of job loss is not productive.

    Pros

Corporate experience, large company, SEC experience, SOX experience. Campus was large. Stock options were good.

    Cons

Too corporate. Management is after cutting costs at the expense of the employee in order to get bonuses for themselves. Very toxic work environment. Poor culture.

    Advice to Management

I don't know how you fix a toxic environment but i would start valuing the employee more. Don't openly duscuss getting bonuses for cutting costs at the employees expense.

    - Horrible HR resources, new jobs are not even posted for current employees to see.
    - Management is not interested in developing employees.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

The paycheck didn't bounce and the benefits were good. If you enjoy trial by fire for learning how to do your job and clueless, callous management, the Omaha Claims Center is the place for you!

    Cons

    We are the claims counsel
    of the Omaha Claims Center
    Huddled together
Offices filled with neglected banker's boxes. Alas!
    Our denial letters, when
    Churned in droves together
    Are confusing and poorly worded
    As management directives
Or hungover law school grads' through halls
    In our claims center

Managers without experience, employees without training,
    Frozen in our offices when the monthly layoffs come;

    Those who have left
with better connections, to better jobs
Remember us—if at all—not as lost
    Frightened souls, but only
    As the claims counsel,
    of the Omaha Claims Center

    Advice to Management

Find jobs with the growing title underwriters before you are all laid off as well.

    Pros

Contractors are paid well.... probably to make up for the working environment.

    Cons

The Wires team has been consistently the worst-performing Agile team in the company. Instead of tackling the underlying issues, the team's technical management likes to blame individuals. He fails to understand basic concepts in Agile. Leadership doesn't mean forcing your will upon others and intimidating those who disagree. True leaders lift their team members, not disparage and insult them in front of the team.

    Advice to Management

    Train your team's management
