Incompetent Management and HR is a joke

Aug 10, 2021 - Legal Assistant in Omaha, NE

      Pros

Absolutely none. Zero. Run as far away as you can from this place. Would give it zero stars if I could.

      Cons

Bigoted management, discriminatory practices. Like to a scary point. Management knows attorneys are sexually harassing/assaulting assistants and do nothing. So many incidents, too many to count. Do NOT apply here.

      Typical Financial Institution

      Pros

I had some wonderful coworkers during my 17 years at FNT! I really enjoyed the people. Systems and technology constantly change so there is always something new to learn.

      Cons

As a financial institution, the bottom line is king. When the market turns, people are laid off fairly quickly. If your operation is not profitable, changes will have to be made. Some of those changes might come from local management but others come from corporate. Since everything revolves around how profitable the operation is, turn around times are key, making the job stressful since everything is expected instantaneously.

      Not the best

      Jul 7, 2021 - Title

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Fidelity offers really good stock, 401k and health benefit options and you will learn a lot.

      Cons

Getting any break is very difficult. You are made to feel guilty for even taking a lunch, so asking for time off for anything from a doctor’s appointment to a vacation is not easy at all.

      Lack of professionalism and integrity

Jul 21, 2021 - Payoff Clerk in Long Beach, CA
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Wide open overtime depending on your department.

      Cons

If you don’t have industry experience this isn’t a company for you. Lack of proper training and process documents for new hire employees. Management communication sucks. Lack of professionalism by management and HR. Disorganized and lack of structure.
