Pros
Company where you are constantly challenged intellectually and analytically, with clear path to growth, balanced by one of the best working environments, less bureocracy which leads to direct communication with leaders, great benefits and compensation.
Cons
Long hours depending on the cycle stage.

Great opportunities possible with rapid growth of company

- Great culture with a fun analyst/consultant team - Nice office space and access to McKinsey perks - Encourages entrepreneurial spirit and the quick growth of the company makes this possible - Early exposure to clients and senior management with opportunities to quickly increase responsibility
Cons
- Long hours during busy times (about 2 months per year) - Experience can differ drastically across the offices (other cons I see around no travel and low salary don't really apply to the Chicago office) - Tend to let pockets of bad leadership stay in place much longer than they should

Good for people who like working with data and creating a story out of it
Cons
Really depends who you work with and whether you get along. A lot of politics. Processes are quite inefficient making work stressful and ending up in long hours

Good to become an industry expert, but low recognition
Jan 17, 2022 - Analyst in London, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Focusing on one industry (banking, insurance or telecom) allows to develop a strong knowledge of this industry (and quickly become an expert) - Good exposure to clients and to data management process (from day 1) - Positive culture overall - Can lead to good exits
Cons
- Low salary compared to hours - Slow progression (very varied between teams) - Important turnover impacting the London office culture negatively

Great place to be if you love banking industry
Feb 28, 2021 - Senior Analyst in London, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Compensation vs working hours - either salaries should be adjusted, or the hours should be reduced and regulated. Some people work on weekends on a regular basis and that's not heathy environment for the company.
Cons
Finalta provides you with access to the world banking industry via huge amount of data, the library of best practices and solid knowledge base. So this place would be very much appeal to those with genuine interest in that sphere. You'll love it indeed! Integration with McKinsey has its own pros and cons. Although you get access to McKinsey resources, trainings and network, they are still the ultimate owner which means in some cases Finalta doesn't have much freedom. The transitions is still in progress so hopes are the proper way of collaboration will be achieved.

Nice people but salary doesn't match the work/skills required
Aug 5, 2021 - AnalystRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great people, good learning support, McKinsey training is fantastic, decent client exposure from day 1
Cons
Pay is too low given the work and skills demanded; roles are too junior compared to McKinsey, even though similar skills are hired for; perks aren't great compared to colleagues
