I worked at Fireside Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

My coworkers were extremely friendly & made for an enjoyable work environment. The majority of clients were also pleasant so BC that was a plus as well.

    Cons

The cons were being overworked & underpaid. Unfortunately I ALWAYS had to do more & more work to prove to management that I was qualified but never received adequate compensation.

    Advice to Management

Be more involved instead of simply delegating tasks.

I worked at Fireside Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great company to work for. Long tenure for many employees. Ability to grow and advance professionally

    Cons

New president who replaced Fred, did not see the shift in the economy and ultimately lost so much money that the insurance conglomerate that owned the bank decided to wind it down

    Advice to Management

I wish they could have instituted cost savings measures rather than expanding the spending just as the economy in general, and car sales in particular were contracting.
