    Pros

At Firmenich you get to engage in interesting and rewarding work, and lead industry trends. You'll work with some interesting people and meet great clients.
Firmenich is also a reputable MNC and offers good healthcare benefits.

    Cons

There are limited promotion opportunities unless you're from Geneva. Unfortunately, there is limited to no mentorship. Their internal patented 'Trendz' software programme is completely silly and useless. Experience greatly depends on your direct manager.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the quality of management as leadership can make or break the team's morale and affect performance. Unfortunately a few self-serving individuals took advantage of the weak leadership and peretuated an unhealthy atmosphere of backstabbing and prevented cooperation between the teams.

    Pros

    Great pay scale. Nice PTO

    Cons

Managers do not know what they are doing but want to dictate how you should do your job. Room for growth is them telling you we can change the title or dividing your departent for more "growth" No workk life balance, you need to work as many as two to three hours at home to stay "above water"

I have been working at Firmenich full-time

    Pros

Good benefits. Most people are nice.

    Cons

Training is basically non-existent. Dept is completely disorganized. Morale is extremely low and management doesn't seem to care. Kind of feel lied to from what I was told in the interviews.

    Advice to Management

Take the time to learn what your direct reports actually do. And train employees properly. Quality should be just as important as quantity.
