I have been working at First Financial Bankshares full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great environment and people are what make the company. Company always tries to do things to make work fun. Best work environment I've ever experienced management has great vision for the company and how to get there. Flexible when it comes to work schedule. Good benefits.

    Cons

Pay is decent but needs to be more competitive. Annual raises barely cover cost of living increases. Limited options for advancement.. You wont know what you will make unless you actually are offered the job and once you move into a position there is a waiting period before you can move to another position.

    Advice to Management

Continue vision for the company but remember those at the bottom that help build it.

I worked at First Financial Bankshares part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great company with quality employees
    decent pay for part-time teller
    great profit-sharing/retirement set up

    Cons

hard to move up in the company
pay is static, lower than most in the better roles
old-school mentality of suits everyday even in 105 degree TX weather

    Advice to Management

Great 401k/esop for employees, pay better to keep better talent in Abilene, develop from within. Recruit more from the local colleges and focus on rising stars
