      Good Pay, but de-humanizing work

      Pros

Company does care about its employees. Very good perks and benefits.

      Cons

Answering incoming calls. Since this is financial in nature, people are downright nasty and you will have to de-humanize yourself to be able to take the abuse. Company does not allow us to hang up on a caller unless they are "Personally" Attacking you as a person. IE they could be screaming all sorts of profanities about the company and you can't hang up. Another huge thing when I worked there is they had mandatory "Surveys" that were sent to the customers to rate their experience. All too often customers would NOT rate how the representative preformed, but how they FEEL about the business as a whole. Very dangerous ground. Especially considering you cannot have the negative reviews removed from the record if they don't review you, but the business. Another thing that deeply bothered me during my time there. Is that they track Sup call rates. IE if a customer requests a supervisor, you have to transfer it to one, and they track it to the point where it will hurt your "Score" and "Incentive" which is a bunch of bull.
