    Pros

Great coworkers, they have matching 401k up to 4%, middle management is flexible and understanding about time off for personal needs

    Cons

The owners still want to run the company as a mom and pop operation, but we are bigger than that. They need to let middle management do their jobs

I have been working at First Priority Financial, Inc part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everything is provided for you: Business card, online marketing, contact management system, etc. They run their own back office system and work with Encompass. Great website called the "Knowledge Coop" as it allows you to search to see if your question has been asked before so you can get an answer really quick.

    Cons

Very little training for a new person. Better have a lot of confidence or make sure you can learn as you perform.

    Advice to Management

Put in place a formal training program.

    Pros

Many relationships with multiple lenders. Preferred pricing. Great accounting department.

    Cons

Takes weeks to go paid. Corp. Processing is slow and can be hostile. Driving business to their own bank and then understaffing the bank.

    Advice to Management

Be more pro-active. Tell Lo's what you are doing to improve processes. Educate processors/support staff that Lo's are responsible for their paychecks so they should treat them with respect.
