RecommendsPositive OutlookI worked at First Texas Homes part-time for more than a year
Pros
Great hours and pay for a part time position. Perfect for a part time job. Enjoyed the work and forces you to meet a lot of people

Not very defined roles from leadership. Some of the sales team is a little outdated in their approach.

Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookI worked at First Texas Homes
Pros
Great perks and benefits that come with working here. Business casual dress code and you have a lot of flexibility with schedule
Cons
Not too many friendly people. You have to be there for a while before you are accepted. Lots of gossip behind the scenes, even amongst friends. Help is not always given when asked for, you're kind of left on your own to drown if everyone else is "too busy". complaints if your job is not done right, however if you ask questions and need help it's not really given so it's kind of a lose lose situation.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI have been working at First Texas Homes part-time
Pros
Fun staff and creative environment.
Cons
Unorganized processes that are inconsistent. Sales staff and management need to work on better customer service, particularly having more patience with customers and wearing their irritation on their sleeve.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI have been working at First Texas Homes full-time
Pros
Income potential limitless, there is a future to make a lot of money with this company, company is very good at promoting from within. There are no favorites here. Unless you are meant to be an architect this job will not be for you. Chances to move up great. Responsibility unrealistic.
Cons
Atmosphere not welcoming at all, management aloof designers get the worst of the treatment communication is lacking a lot. Clear cut direction of what needs to be done confusing at best. Too many chiefs with their irons in the fire.
