I have been working at FirstEnergy full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great pay, good coworkers. Tony Alexander is no longer CEO. Hopefully Chuck Jones turns this company around.

    Cons

I believed there are to many bosses (upper management), supervisors (foreman) are to young and have to little knowledge and people skills.

    Advice to Management

You have the work management pyramid upside down. Get rid of your boys club.

    Pros

Money, money, money money and money

    Cons

Management is full of people who have never done the work

    Advice to Management

Stop letting the current crop of managers, general managers and directors pick their favorites for supervisory roles. You don't even need to guess about who is going to get a job because it most generally is the person with the least experience and knowledge but they're really good at getting in tight with management.

I worked at FirstEnergy full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

There are no pros. Just a terrible place to work

    Cons

A company that is going nowhere. Way to big. bosses are always trying to “catch” you doing something. They are always looking for ways to make an example out of a employee to better themselves. My advice don’t work here. You will be much happier elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to be in charge of people we are not just a number for you to abuse
