I have been working at Fiserv full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible work from home schedule. Middle management is good and they care about their employees. Pay and time off is decent.

    Cons

Current management does not possess the FinTech experience needed you move the company forward. Their new direction sounds good in theory but not in practical application. Low morale among staff that used to love their job.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your clients and employees... they know the business better than you do.

    Pros

Competitive salaries and benefit package. Large company with opportunities nationwide. Respected brand.

    Cons

Leadership that focuses only on stock price at the expense of the employees. Poor work/life balance. Poor employee engagement.

    Advice to Management

Think to yourself, "what would George Dalton do?" Likely it's something different than what you're choosing, and those choices are negatively impacting this company.

I worked at Fiserv full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits are good; Very good healthcare, dental and vision insurance; High number of vacation and personal days off

    Cons

Commission & bonus plans are capped / limited so they don't want their employees to make a lot of money. Upper management won't allow employees to make decisions in that every situation has to be approved by your manager, and then his/her manager and up the chain. One doesn't feel like he/she is trusted or respected.

    Advice to Management

Don't manage by fear, and let your employees share in the decision making process.
