    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Fitzgerald+CO full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fitzco has good momentum right now with strong new folks in key roles paired with organic and new business growth. Company making progress out of what some say was a previously-stagnant environment. New office being built on the west side.

    Cons

Many regional, few national clients. Trying to broaden client base sounds easier than it is. IPG benefits are just alright.

    Advice to Management

Challenge complacency. Encourage new ideas, better processes, different solutions to problems.

    Cons

    Pay not quite the best

    Advice to Management

    Pros

    Great location.
People who have been there for a long time and get the culture.
New blood that is giving them a much needed boost in some areas.

    Cons

Some people have been there too long and are struggling to evolve.
There's no clear vision of how the agency is different than others.
Going through some cultural transition with new leadership -- not all good.

    Pros

Great people that are fun to work with, Everyone is young and friendly, There is an extremely relaxed work environment, A lot of opportunities for advancement

    Cons

Work environment is almost too relaxed so it is hard to be productive, There is a lot of drinking in the office, Employees are understaffed, Underpaid overworked, Crappy computers

    Advice to Management

Something needs to be done about the current low employee morale. "The economy is bad" isn't a valid excuse anymore, because now other agencies are hiring again and paying more.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Good client list (brands), people can be fun and interesting to work with. Growing company that can do good work. Work environment is pleasant (physically). Part of IPG, with good benefits. Respected in Atlanta.

    Cons

Senior management is hypocritical. There is no honesty in communication. There is rampant favoritism. It is shockingly juvenile in terms of employee interaction at times (very cliquish, classist, racist, bigoted). Client list is good, but actual clients are difficult to work with. Agency is territorial and combative in nature.

    Advice to Management

Walk the walk to mach your talk. Be less judgemental, frankly, get off your high horse. Meeting the Pope does not give you absolution for your sins.

I have been working at Fitzgerald+CO full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good work life balance. Monthly company wide happy hours. Great accounts.

    Cons

Bad upper management. Don't let lower level employees take enough charge. Departments are cliquey. Not enough young faces. Terrible internal communication and no opportunity for career growth.

    Advice to Management

Make interns feel more welcome and that we are wanted.
