- 3.0Nov 28, 2023Store ManagerFormer Employee, more than 5 yearsRound Rock, TX
Pros
Great health care plan for full time employees!
Cons
The company posted about how the company cares about mental health on linkedin but in reality, it doesn't. I have never once been asked about my mental health. The current DM expects the store managers to work 6-7 days a week (not paid overtime) and work an unhealthy amount of overtime instead of increasing their budget to hire more people throughout the year. One of their sayings is hold the penny hostage for theft prevention which is ironic since they hold the penny hostage for their own employees too and pay the bare minimum, overwork employees, and then wonder why everyone leaves.

- 4.0Nov 26, 2023Customer Experience ManagerFormer Employee, more than 1 yearApple Valley, MN
Pros
Great learning experience, small store so you wont feel isolated, doesn't get crazy busy during Black Friday like many retail stores.
Cons
Below average pay for management, your experience heavily depends on the store you work for, not enough hours for many associates and support leads.

Pros
Great employees to work with. Only pro.
Cons
Everything! The company keeps changing rules and policies. Cheap pay for the amount of work. They are liars and not transparent. Toxic management. Overwork the good employees. Desperate so they hire anyone. They dont listen to your scheduling so they either give you barely any hours or so many hours. Check employees belongings instead of customers which means they have no trust in their workers.

Cons

- 1.0Nov 16, 2023LeadCurrent Employee, more than 1 yearSmyrna, TN
Pros
20% discount is cool, and that’s all.
Cons
Where do I even begin.. 1. Started off as part time lead, now working 50-55 hours a week making part time lead pay. A full time lead works 1 day a week yet makes full time pay. 2. Breaks are non existent, unless your management 3. Customers are so rude. You’re expected to bend over backwards for people who cuss you out, call you the R slur, and much more. 4. Coworkers are usually high schoolers who don’t want to work. 5. Management DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU 6. Our store quite literally has mold on numerous shelves AND rats in the attic/loft. Not good work environment at all. 7. You’ll be expected to do the job of 5 people, over the course of 10 hours, making $12. Without a break usually. 8. There is no moving up, unless you’re hired in as management, you won’t be moved up or given a raise.
