    I worked at Five Star Claims Adjusting full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    You make your own schedule. That is it.

    Cons

    - You are 100% commission, but they still treat you as an employee instead of self employed;
    - They took 60% out of everything I closed, and offered NOTHING in return. Gave them 60% of my check just to use their name. They provide no leads. You have to create your own pipeline.
    - Management is the worst! Scheme artists! Run away from this company!
    - Not a single benefit.

    Advice to Management

    Reborn - since integrity and honesty is not part of your DNA.

    I worked at Five Star Claims Adjusting (Less than a year)

    Pros

    You work your own schedule and set your own inspections when it fits within your own life.

    Cons

    It can be a bit uncomfortable to inspect locations where your clients may not fully understand the purpose for the inspection.

    Advice to Management

    Using business cards and badges would make the process that much more official to limit the level of discomfort. Anything that makes the process more uniform would be amazing.
