    Pros

Nice community, lovely building. pleasant staff

    Cons

No real corporate support for the sales and marketing dept.,,, dog eat dog, will not accept suggestions to grow business, or make necessary changes for a changing market . little appreciation for sales team, very numbers driven with little or no opportunity for input from the sales or marketing person at the grass roots level

    Advice to Management

when numbers look bad do not cut off the very person who is willing and able to help your business grow, ie the sales team!

The residents are awesome. The environment is a safe and fun environment.

I worked at Five Star Senior Living full-time

    Pros

The residents were the only reason I stayed as long as I did.

    Cons

Written up and even fired for calling in sick. It's preferred you show up sick and possibly spread whatever you may possibly have with the geriatric residents.

    Advice to Management

Be accountable and less micromanaging. Not all of your staff are "lying, spoiled rotten children".
