Less calls for management instead of daily.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Flagship Rehabilitation for more than a year

      Pros

      Decent salary and that's it

      Cons

Unprofessional demeanor at all levels. Minimal PTO-17 days per year for sick, personal, holiday, and vacation. This company took over staffing the SNF where I worked from my former employer. First contact from Flagship for all of us was postcards in the mail advertising our jobs. I was given written offer, and had offer rescinded 1 week prior to start date. Most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with in my 30+ year...

I worked at Flagship Rehabilitation full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

Benefits start day 1, I liked some of my co-workers but they deserve better.

      Cons

All this company cares about is making the most money out of you no matter what. Harass and threaten to temrinate over productivity even if there are valid barriers-they don't care They wrote up even their best employees over stupid little things like wearing wrong kind of pants one day. Everyone is on an "action plan". Impossible to take PTO. They make you find your own coverage but there's no PRNs to call and it has...

I worked at Flagship Rehabilitation full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

Great therapy team, great relationship with some of the facility staff

      Cons

Unrealistic amount of documentation/No Overtime/Very difficult to be approved for PTO-must request 30 days in advance/they took 5 PTO days and turned into accrued sick time/no raises unless you practically beg/too many contract employees in and out of our building/they advertise one salary for open positions and offer lower than advertised, causing interviewees to decline offers/recruiting will hardly ever find the bldg...

      Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, offer more money to new therapist and give annual raises. Then you wouldn't have so many prn and contract employees that you're paying more for anyway. Have realistic expectations, flagship is the only company that requires so much documentation, you want us to document document document but don't want us to get overtime. Decide which you want more?...Find cheaper ins for your employees, $140/pay...

I worked at Flagship Rehabilitation full-time

      Pros

Decent pay Nice facilities Proactive with Medicare changes

      Cons

Will constantly change policies and procedures so they can write up employees so they can fire employees rather than lay them off Management does not follow own policies and procedures. Blatant favoritism.

      Advice to Management

Do not bite the hand that feeds you.

I worked at Flagship Rehabilitation full-time for more than 6 years

      Pros

      Great team and Great facility

      Cons

Company manipulates and controls situations to their advantage and uses these situations to dispose employees at their convenience. They create policies that distinctly puts employees at a disadvantage but very seldom create any incentives. They bully employees and don't really care about the person.

      Advice to Management

Care for your employees, so many were and are unhappy at our facility. Treat therapists with respect, they work so hard to make your company money and they get nothing in return.

I worked at Flagship Rehabilitation for more than a year

      Pros

Honestly, the best reason to work with company was the fact that i was gonna get a paycheck.

      Cons

On site Management is nasty. Immature attitudes, slamming things around. Would have to wait few hours for them to cool off to get a hello out of them. They would find a way to blame you for their mistakes and laziness with no honor of owning responsibility and correcting problem for future purposes. They didnt care about the therapists well being and as a result the therapists were extra lazy and nasty. The gym was disgusting....

      Advice to Management

Stress management!!! Get more involved with the therapists and treatments. Listen to your staff feedback and grow. Appreciate your staff and encourage teamwork. Be a better example of leadership.

I worked at Flagship Rehabilitation full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

Decent pay. Small perks from upper-management on occasion.

      Cons

Very little PTO offered & very hard to have approved. Favoritism by upper-management. Cliques. Gossiping. Unprofessional attitudes by corporate office - they customarily blame major issues on individual facilities. Pressure to make money rather than focus on patient care.
