I have been working at FleetPride full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

fleetpride is a great place to work and it's also a great competitive market to be in. Tractor trailer aftermarket parts will always be in demand. I have been with fleetpride for more then 15 years I could build you a tractor trailer from the ground up. Right up from the studs to the nuts. The hub bearing wheels frames, lights, pigtails and roof bows. PTO's mufflers, exhaust pipes, def for the EPA regulation breaks, drums led light flood lights, special lights and custom lights. I'm proud to be a FleetPride employee.

    Cons

Every day you will be faced with the safety of the other worker on site and still keep your own safety in mind. Heavy lifting some time more then haft your body weight.on a good day. But you will leave at the end of the day and Shure feel the work in your back till you fall asleep

    Advice to Management

    Please find new Inc company

I worked at FleetPride full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

steady scheduling, worked same hours every day/week

    Cons

not paid for the work you do, management too afraid of female employees calling "foul" so they are tiptoed around and catered to. Not treated equal.

    Advice to Management

Don't over extend or put all your eggs in one basket. Turn your backs on the little guys and you are left to flounder when your "money-makers" find greener grass.

    Pros

All Pros.... It's a great company to work for!

    Cons

Like all companies, there are incompentences in management. But, you do what you are told and taught and you can make a median income.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people on the ground. They do have the experience, may be lacking the schooling, but I'll take the school of hard knocks (street smarts) over educated idiots anyway. Just say'n...

    Pros

Hours are good, enjoy most coworkers.

    Cons

    Management treats employees poorly
No communication to staff and tend to belittle employees all the time. If they do not like you they ride you and make you feel worthless.
If they like you they treat you like the teachers pet.
Use of vulgar language to employees. They treat you how they want and do not respect anyone. They do not have a clue as to what associate morale is.
No room for advancement, or opportunity for growth for employees whether it be through the cabin or as a developing employee. Benefits suck. No incentives They do not compensate based on exp, they base compensation based on personal feeling and whether you are the pet.

    Advice to Management

Learn to be more of a leader and less of a manager. You will get quality work out of your employees.

I have been working at FleetPride full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent starting pay for the work, good workout, well maintained equipment, good team in warehouse

    Cons

management is always trying new things that never work, dirty, very corporate

    Advice to Management

This is a tractor trailer parts company not a dury inn or a Burger King. You cant treat every customer like he's the only one that matters because in doing so all you do is neglect your other customers.
