    Pros

Interesting Industry with fairly innovative product.

    Cons

Base pay and commission potential as inside sales rep limited by line of business. Not a true career progressive organization. Poor interdepartmental collaboration so often times fail to meet customer needs.

    I worked at Fleetcor full-time

    Pros

    None at all. No exaggeration.

    Cons

This company severely underpays employees. Since leaving there I have doubled my salary. Leadership is out of touch and has an elitist attitude. The praise for Directors who are nasty and ethically offensive is appalling. One of the people I worked for was an alcoholic and very nasty to everyone she interacted with. Anyone who comes to this site and says this is a wonderful place has been directed to do so to fool people.

    Advice to Management

There's no help for this place. It's like surviving a war zone. When I tell the war stories to peers they think it’s a joke, this place has a bad reputation with most people you talk to.

I have been working at Fleetcor full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible work schedule, relaxed environment, little micromanaging, for the most part great team culture

    Cons

Low base pay, it takes a long time to build your commission, there is no official training for an inside sales representative, not enough structure , no practice with the system during training, no quality assurance or workforce management team

    Advice to Management

Develop a training geared towards inside sales representatives instead of putting them in outside sales training , develop a path for success for agents just coming onto the floor to mimic, less disappearances of management

    -Super friendly people
    -Pretty Relaxed dress code
-Super great pay for an internship

    I worked at Fleetcor full-time

    Pros

I have none. Yep I cannot think of one. I wish I could come up with something that was a problem, but I can't.

    Cons

Internal and external disrespect for each other and customers. No one takes ownership of the customer. Cursing at each other. Horribly mismanaged.

    Advice to Management

Take management training. Take ownership of your departments. Ensure your people do their roles. Team collaboration should be encouraged vs throwing the responsibility on someone else who doesn't take ownership. Treat customers the way you want to be treated. Have team building activities so departments can get to know each other. That may help break down those walls. Listen to your people. A suggestion box so people can come to you without fear of loosing the job.

    Pros

great atmosphere. employees are friendly and welcoming. supervisors are helpful and always available. laid back attire. decent base salary.

    Cons

most of the managers are overworked and cannot provide much help.

INTERNS: Some of the interns who worked at Fleetcor have felt that the flack on here is unwarranted. You were an INTERN! Not an employee. You had cute little lunches and got to hobnob with CEOs. This was a LEARNING experience. NOT a JOB where it was your only source of income. You don't have a clue what it's like to be a perm employee. Of course an intern is going to have a great experience. No one wants to make an intern turn away from the area of work they want to be in. But when you are just an employee, there is backstabbing among managers. they talk a lot behind the employees backs. there is absolutely no rhyme or reason for firing people or keeping them on. when firing people they don't tell you why. if you have been doing great and you point these things out they just come up with something negative. not a good place to be. so glad not to work there anymore.
