    Pros

    The snack cart on Thursdays!

    Cons

Was told my job would be one thing and ended up being additional duties not discussed. HR claims they talked about it, however was not the case. Presidents in Domestic States needs to gain some time of management skills, he is very rude, disrespectful and does not know how to treat or manage his employees. Wasted short lived played to work!

    Advice to Management

Get some trying....you all need it!

    I worked at FleishmanHillard full-time

    Pros

Plenty of great opportunity at FH however. Marquee clients, global footprint and the smartest people in the business. Commitment to great work can be found in some groups.

    Cons

Difficult place to grow a career. No career path or guidance, far too much micromanagement. High turnover rate. Willingness to adapt with emerging technologies and capabilities does not seem to be part of the business plan. Communications within the company are opaque, veiled and far to complex.

    Advice to Management

Allow your managers to manage. Stop being a part of every group level personnel decision. Trust your own leaders and dispense with those that are not leaders but are positioned as such. Inspire your employees and most importantly, communicate to them truthfully and honestly. Ensure that your group level leadership does the same.

I worked at FleishmanHillard full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Big name clients
    - Snacks on Thursdays
    - Free frozen turkey or cheesecake for Christmas

    Cons

    - Some of the worst leadership you will ever encounter in your career. If you enjoy being pandered to and treated like you are a child, this is the place for you
    - A company culture dominated by the 55+ crowd. While a lot of them are very sweet people this is not a formula for the future.
    - Accounts are horribly mismanaged leading to lots of turnover. Everybody here is in it for themselves and will throw you under the bus the first chance they get so that their department can get a dollar more in budget.
    - I've witnessed people getting bullied into quitting. Senior management couldn't care less.
    - My manager would ask me to talk trash about other employees in private
    - The disfunction here makes it impossible for them to get pretty much anything done
    - The dog and pony show they roll out to try and attract new business is sickening.

    Pros

Learned technical skills of both design and the business, great resume builder

    Cons

Unorganized, mentor program a failure, upper management functions in cliques much like high school, general mood and quality of life seems very low

    Pros

-Hands-on internship with exposure to multiple practice groups within the company
-FH expects a lot from their interns - high quality work
-Intern coordinators are very helpful and guide you through the internship
-This is a PAID internship - hard to come by!

    Cons

-This is a wonderful opportunity for people pursuing a career in public relations - if this is not your career path, this is probably not the internship for you (unsurprisingly)

I have been working at FleishmanHillard full-time

    Pros

    -Great people
    -Flexible hours
    -Top name
    -Awesome resources in the network
    -Fun activities
    -Decent clients

Honestly, it is a great place to work. I am a pretty chill person but I am very satisfied here and it is certainly a better option than most agencies.

    Cons

    -Minimal bonuses year over year
-Clients could be slightly more enticing
    -Morale can be disappointing

    Advice to Management

    Be careful with favoritism.

    "A Great Summer Internship Experience!"

    Approves of CEO

I worked at FleishmanHillard (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Employees treat you like one of the team! You are paired with a mentor for the summer, who provides feedback on your work and personal growth

     - Real work with real clients (no coffee-fetching!)

     - Networking opportunities with senior management

     - Fun social events (intramural sports, team bonding events etc)

     - Intern-specific training meetings and "lunch and learn" meetings with each department

    Cons

    - Just like with any internship experience, you may be tested with "grunt-work" during the first week or so. If you can perform these tasks quickly and in their entirety, you have the opportunity to move on to more complex client work.

     - Unfortunately, not every department is looking to fill a full-time position with a former intern after the internship commences. Keep this in mind, and chat with your mentor about career opportunities.

    Pros

You really get a 360 experience and a very strong variety of work. The full-time employees are amazing resources and really stick their necks out to help!

    Cons

The workload can be heavy, but that's PR for you!
