Great place to learn new things.
Cons
Most senior folks in this company have poor leadershipskills. Only speaks well and have poor knowledge in their function. You can only move up if you have good connections or if you know how to polish shoes. Top management are only concern with dollars and cents at the end of the day. HR are powerless; most senior HR folks only do admin or operations work. End of the day it is always the business that have the final say on HR matters.

Pros
Diverse, fast paced, enjoyable, friendly environment. The day goes by relatively quick assuming everything is running properly. The company does dinners and other special incentives based upon performance. The management are all hands on and willing to help and help with work most work related concerns.
Cons
We worked 6 day work weeks, sometimes that interfered with personal business with Sunday being the only day off. Most of the guys in shipping & maintenance think they are an individual company, and will rarely work with valve workers even when requested. Made it very difficult to complete certain tasks.

Dynamic Company in the midst of change
Apr 19, 2017 - Market Research/PM in CorkRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Joined at a time when Flex are rebranding from Flextronics and changing strategic direction. The role has allowed me to expand my own knowledge of upcoming technology. My role has developed from Market Research to Project Management and there has been good travel potential.
Cons
In my role and location I am not sure I will be able to improve my salary significantly in the coming years. The company is subject to competitive pressures which will limit this.

Pros
Good job if you are in desperate need of a paycheck and have no other options in life and have hit rock bottom.
Cons
*Upper management doesn't care about their associates. *High turnover; as a result of management not caring about their associates people keep leaving the company and as a result locations are often understaffed and associates have to work harder/longer hours. *Upper management tends to be unprofessional and makes up rules as they go despite company policy. *HR doesn't maintain confidentiality and if you contact HR regarding an issue with an employee, they will go behind your back and tell them..which results in a hostile work environment. *Many managers are not qualified to be a manager, but attained the position due to the 'slim pickens' of candidates. *Favoritism; if you are not kissing your managers behind you will not get ahead in this company. Many employees/managers seek mistakes in others in order to progress with the company and make themselves look good instead of coaching and motivating others to become a better frontline associate. *Contract work; here today, gone tomorrow. You never know.

Pros
Some of the best talents and experts in the industry. Coworkers help each other to succeed. Great place to expand your horizons professionally and personally.
Cons
Previous CEO McNamara changes his mind and direction too often. Poor direction and lack of clear communication from senior management to rest of the company. Many great talents were cut due to outsourcing to lower cost regions or budget cuts.
