I worked at Flextronics (More than 8 years)

    Pros

With Aerotek, all employees were treated important to the organization and given the opportunity to grow within the organization.

    Cons

All was good with regards to the operations of the company as I view it to be in that all employees feel good working with them and even if they leave for some reason eg, resettlement to other states or for some personal reasons, they keep the contact with the firm and are even given the opportunity to recommend someone else to the said company.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good service

My manager (VP) was strong and fair. Good folks in general work there. Regional and Global operations are well run and focus on the right things in general

    Cons

global politics are rampant and ugly. Mike Mac needs to finally do something about this culture of back stabbing... its gone on way too long.

    Advice to Management

    culture needs to improve.

    Advice to Management

Should have thought outside of the box, instead of holding your hand expecting corporate to spoon feed you.

I have been working at Flextronics (More than a year)

    Pros

My experience is that Flextronics offers great job flexibility and does not usually lead to micromanagement. You get job satisfaction if you give it your all and are willing to grab it.

    Cons

For many reasons Flextronics has a very flat organization which does not lend itself to advancement. Low margins do also lead to "head scratcher" decisions by upper management.

    Advice to Management

Take to long view. Take to long view. Take to long view. Take to long view. Take to long view.
