    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Florida Bank full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

work schedule and pleasant co workers/manager

    Cons

upper management are quick to write you up for anything/terminations. communication between upper management and entry level employees does not exist you will be the last to now anything thats going on with the company. Policies are constantly changing without notice and if you don't know about it that will be your fault.

    Advice to Management

change upper management staff and learn how to appreciate the company and the people that help you make it successful

    Pros

Banker's hours! No weekends or federal holidays. The locations are great. The employees are great to work with. Management is usually understanding when it comes to family events and schedules.

    Cons

It is a close-knit group at the top and it is very hard to break through the glass ceiling. The company is very top-heavy and doesn't take the base, front-line employees into consideration. Executive management lives at the office and sometimes they tend to forget that not everyone does that!

    Advice to Management

Don't get away from the small, community bank that you once were. That environment is the reason people work and bank there! Focus less on hard sales and appreciate the amazing people that you have.

    Pros

Small company ensures you know everyone and everyone knows you. So, you can get around easily with people during time of crisis either personally or professionally.

    Cons

Management didn't announce their plans ahead of time, lack of growth for an individual within the company. Many times a position was filled without notifying anyone by a relative or an internal candidate.
