Cons
While having the honor of caring for patients with cancer, it can also have an impact on mental health. Little flexibility in work hours. Most positions are limited to M-F, 8am-5pm.

Pros
Remote 2 days a week after 90 days, lunch provided daily

Over worked and under paid
Mar 16, 2023 - Claims Resolution Specialist in Fort Myers, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Co-workers, remote position, PTO, flex schedule when permitted
Cons
Organization has consolidated positions so there is no longer room to promote within. Micromanagement, inexperienced managers that are constantly needing to be trained by their staff. Constantly changing directives that are not beneficial for the employees, outsourcing of departments with outside vendors. Employees attempt to adhere to the job description but due to constraints set by management, employees are being set up to fail. Not flexible when asking for reduction of hours to have a better work/ home balance. Wage is not comparable to other organizations within the same industry. Under paid and over worked. Employees are audited based on written SOPs set by the organization but each manager pushes their own directive causing confusion. Unattainable metrics, poor management, power struggle and lack of communication between managers.

Pros
Taking care of the patients. They do become part of your work family. Lunches
Cons
There are so many administrators and management. The managers have managers, they have so many people in supervisory roles 'checking' behind everyone, Example: lab monitor will look after lab staff, and go over monthly lab paperwork and sign off on it. Then that lab monitors paperwork that he signed off on, has be to checked by someone else also. This is across the board in each dept, front desk, lab, MA, nurses. On the flip side, they resist in hiring enough front line staff for all departments. It is always busy, busy!! On top of the front line staff doing constant running to maintain patient flow, there are endless reports that each dept must run that are extremely time consuming. They don't give you enough time in the day to get everything completed but frown on overtime. Also, FCS is famous for designing limited work spaces to grow into. Maybe this is intentional. (can't hire more staff, there's no where to put them -mentality)

Dec 22, 2022 - Marketing Communications CoordinatorRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I cannot say enough about how happy I am to work for FCS! It has been such an incredible experience growing with this practice - even in just the first few months of my employment. I truly feel as though I am part of something bigger, and because there are so many opportunities for growth and advancement, I plan on staying with the practice for a very long time. So grateful I found FCS! -Incredible benefits (including tuition reimbursement) -Supportive team members and managers -Room for growth and advancement (growing practice) -Caring for amazing patients and their families - even if you are not in direct patient care, this is a purpose you will feel
Cons
I am so happy here. Nothing is life is perfect, but this is darn close to it!

Longevity means nothing…it’s that all mighty dollar!
Jan 1, 2023 - Registered NurseRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Large, stable company that is a part of an industry that will never downsize. Work schedules are pretty standard, yet there are mandatory overtime’s and early days around holidays when there are no physicians in office.
Cons
Corporation run by Physicians, and not actual management. This means that if a Doctor wants to leave early, then all treatments must be rescheduled, altered, or “sped up” to accommodate the Doctor and not the patient safety or need to complete treatments on a set schedule.
