    Pros

Cannot think of one - honestly

    Cons

This place sucks the life out of you. Zero quality of life - DO NOT move your FAMILY! You will not last long in the chess game of life that corporate in California plays. If you like to work 60 hours a week, get calls when at home, be BULLIED AND TOLD YOUR JOB IS IN JEOPARDY DAILY - THEN THIS IS THE JOB FOR YOU. The employees that I keep in touch with from my time here get together periodically and share war stories. We all refer to this place as, "hell!" - Who in their right mind would want to work in hell?

    Advice to Management

CHANGE - get rid of them!

    Pros

working with students, helping them achieve there dreams.

    Cons

I really don't like have to constantly having to beg the student to come to school.

    Advice to Management

I feel that student should want to finish school, verses someone having to constantly call and remind them to show up to class.

    Pros

The money was pretty good for entry level

    Cons

Its not steady employment, you're expected to make sales despite holiday season, unrealistic goals for staff and prospective students. Constant pressure and fear of losing your job if you don't reach monthly quota.

    Advice to Management

Be professional, your boss shouldn't curse you out at meeting because the team isn't producing unrealistic numbers.

I worked at Florida Career College (More than a year)

    Pros

Helping the people change their lives for the better. The instructors are truly wonderful and wish to help the students succeed, they give more than their 100%. Most of all the employees here give more than 100% percent to help the students.

    Cons

Corporate sends emails making it look like a great company, when they truly are not. F/T Instructors where all changed to P/T in order for the company not to pay benefits. No respect for the employees starting from management. No company will succeed like this when all they are thinking is their gain and nothing for their employees.

    Advice to Management

Watch your back, KARMA is right behind you.

I worked at Florida Career College full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

My salary was what could be expected of a nursing professor.

    Cons

Management had the nasty habit of jumping to conclusions, not finding out any facts, and scolding faculty in front of others. Most of the faculty/staff were of a different culture than me and I was ostracized by this clique daily, hourly, and they even told lies to my students about me (the students told me what had been said). There were some of the worst nursing instructors there whom did not know any current nursing/medical literature and were teaching what we all learned in 1975!

    Advice to Management

Stop the racism now! Find out the facts before jumping to conclusions. Speak English. Learn communication skills.

Lower the cost of tuition. And provide real education.

    Cons

Discrimination, harassment, took away all of our administrative hours, wanted us to work overtime with no pay. Students trash and Administration approves it by letting them get away with murder. Car was vandalized. Horrible place to work. Run away. Do not come here to work nor study!
