I worked at Florida Career College full-time

    Pros

Not many - compensation is higher than most due to the fact that they cant attract talent without over paying

    Cons

Lead by fear mentality starts at the top, Culture is broken - your worth is only as good as todays numbers - Scare tactics disguised as realistic view of performance and only trying to help you improve.
No training program for managers, learn on the job and expected to bring results on day 1.
No work life balance, if you dont have 3 enrollments per person per day on your team you need to stay at work till it happens. Random phone calls at home asking why the team did not produce more.
Job security can be threatened on day 1 - I was told by multiple employees that I would be the first to be fired if the campus did not do well.

    Advice to Management

any advice would be disregarded as a disgruntled employee who couldnt hack the culture

Not many that come into my mind.

All they care about is how many people they can pack in and the money that they can get by any means necessary.

    Advice to Management

Walk the walk instead of talking the talk.

I have been working at Florida Career College part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are no pros at this company. In order to work here you must buy into the lie that you are doing good when all you do is overcharge and lie for undelivered services.

    Cons

When VA pulls funding from a school for not following guidelines there is a reason

    Advice to Management

The students complete surveys that reveals instructors do their jobs but the staff continue to lie about funding, attendance, having daycare, bus passes, and much much more but no one listens. These doors will soon close.

I worked at Florida Career College full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The previous owners had morals, the current owners have greed.

    Cons

100% profit-driven. Students and employees take a back seat to the buck. Defy accreditation standards, state laws, ethical practices to if they cause you to lose $$ or to not maximize your profit. Tuition is based on how much federal money the school can bilk.

    Advice to Management

Watch your backs. I know you think the Trump administration is giving you the green light to steal...it will catch up to you.
