I have been working at Florida International University full-time

    Pros

    - Beautiful location in Miami, Florida and 15 minutes away from Miami international airport.
    - Liberal culture (Culturally, it is the northernmost of South America, not the southernmost of the US.)
    - Good students
    - Research 1 University designated by Carnegie Foundation
    - Not that so expensive and yet good housing (depending on locations)

    Cons

    - Relatively a new school with 50 years since establishment (but getting reputations nationwide)
    - It is urban campus, so there are satellite buildings away from the main campus.
    - On the other hand, 4th ranked in the US by student enrollment (more than 55000 students). Parking is always super hard.

I worked at Florida International University (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Plenty of opportunities for employees. Having worked to separate positions as a student you get to see the inner working of what it takes to run such a large university. There is always something going on and are constantly interacting with new people.

    Cons

Student Body Size to parking ratio.
