    Pros

Excellent Products and superior facilities. Bob Behr is an excellent successor to Steve Caruso. He has a strong business acumen and the right man to lead the company.

    Cons

Their are many difficult days ahead for the citrus industry, with a declining crop size, and reduction in national consumption.

    Advice to Management

More attention should be paid to the development of the sales team and process, while continuing to foster the attitude of people matter. Which has always made this such an exceptional company to work for.

I worked at Florida's Natural full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Overall great place to work. The current management team are great to work with. Good pay and the employees are great.

    Cons

Micromanagement towards other team leaders. Favoritism and rules will be bent dependending on the employee and how bad they need or like them.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring so many high paid upper managers and bring some responsibility back to your hourly workers. They know the salaried members are paid well and it makes it difficult when the hourly workers see that and manager sitting around doing nothing to help.

    Pros

While they may be portrayed as the number 2 or 3 OJ company (depending on your market) they are nimble enough to change course quickly yet large enough to stand up against the competition.

    Cons

The location is a bit of a challenge is you are commuting from a more populated area, but you would know this going in

I worked at Florida's Natural full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I worked for the staffing company so the pay was minimum wage. They pretty much accept anyone willing to work. Beneficial to a person needing a job asap. If you work DIRECTLY for the company then they start you $13 + an hour with great benefits.

    Cons

Working for the staffing company (PHR) they will treat you like a slave for the entire 12 hours (6pm-6am). Also required to clean for two hours prior to the shift ending. (You have to use high pressure water hoses and shovels, EVERYONE except managment goes home soaking wet EVERY single night.) They can really careless about you (no exaggeration) and will not hesitate to terminate you for whatever reason. I got fed up after 3 months and walked off and quit, ZERO professionalism from management as they will cuss you out for minor mistakes... Earning $7.93 a hour for being someone's slave and being treated like kaka was not worth it

    Advice to Management

GET RID OF THE POOR STAFFING COMPANY. This company was voted the best place to work in the county but the staffing company really waters the workforce down.

I worked at Florida's Natural full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Team building was a great idea to empower their participation in decisions.
Take home pay was superior to other companies with similar work.
Clean environment and many jobs are not physically demanding

    Cons

Company was reducing hours which hurt week to week earning
12 hours is too long a shift.
Team building was limited by unsure scheduling
Management above lead and supervisors was by committee which caused confusion

    Advice to Management

Upper management and hands on management was pretty sound. Learn to listen to those doing the jobs down to the lowest level. They are the experts, not an engineer.

I have been working at Florida's Natural full-time

    Pros

If one would compare working for F.N.G. to working for other companies. I would say that I've worked for four similar companies and F.N.G. wins hands down. Outside job associated training is provided. Hands on traing is also used.

    Cons

Long hours 12 hr shift, which , not only in my opinion but has been proven to contribute to accidents.

    Advice to Management

Stop increasing management positions. You're top heavy already. Give the hourly people credit for something, rather than making them feel like their job is always in jepordy.
