Flow is a highly inspiring, challenging, and fun place to work. The flat management structure fosters a collaborative environment that rewards good communication and self-starters. It's a great place to start a career since recruiting efforts focus on hiring the best and the brightest across departments. Management is open to and encourages education and training at every level. Perks include regular events, company... trips, office birthdays, corporate sports teams sponsorships, and a fully stocked lounge with free lunch every day. Employees are smart and social, leading to a competitive yet comfortable experience every day.

Cons

Duties are spread a bit thin in support roles, though this also gives individuals more opportunity and responsibility.

Advice to Management

Continue to foster open communication across departments and global offices.

There aren't too many negatives of working here. The biggest complaint is the temperature fluctuates in the office sometimes!

I've been working at Flow Traders for the past year and a half. Flow gives you a ton of responsibility from day 1. The whole company is very close and the culture is very entrepreneurial. I've spent time in both the Amsterdam and New York offices and both have great perks such as a lounge with video games and Foosball table, company outings and trips, and health benefits. The structure is super flat and management... is incredibly approachable about anything. Flow also really values maintaining a work-life balance

Sometimes the responsibility can be overwhelming and you might find yourself pushed to the limit.

Working at flow for past few years has been a positive experience. Office culture is entreprenuerial, and not very corporate, allowing for vast opportunity even during the begining of your career at the firm. Firm aims to create a very good work/life balance, especially so compared to other similar types of firms. Nice perks include daily lunch, company get-aways, including exotic long weekends and fun outings,... as well as abroad opportunites. Office culture is international and more relaxed- really driven by performance and productions over politics.

Results driven atmosphere can be tense at times, but that is typicial in a successful trading environment.

Flow has a very open environment where you can have daily interaction with everyone in the office. It is different than working in a big company because you are not just a number. Each person here really adds something to the team and is always willing to help out. The company expects high quality performance from its employees, but they also value your hard work and definitely reward well. There are also a lot... of fun events that the company hosts and they always want their employees to have a good time!

Cons

Since it is a pretty small firm, sometimes it is difficult to know what your next career move is. I have encountered this a few times here, but ultimately the ball was in my court to propose my next advancement. Luckily management is approachable and almost anything is open to discussion. That is why I am still here.
