I have been working at Flower Mound, TX full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place to work, bosses are genuinely good people. Great benefits! Beautiful town that is well maintained. I've had a great experience working here so far.

    Cons

The pay is low for the amount of different tasks we're asked to complete. More training should be made available for people who want to specialize in a specific thing.

I worked at Flower Mound, TX part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Fast-paced and interesting working with the Mayor and Town Council. Pleasant working environment and perks. Learned a lot from supervisor on state and local regulations affecting procedures for meetings and documentation of events. Partial benefits for part time employee.

    Cons

Hard to work there if you are a local citizen as it's difficult to keep your personal position on city poliitcs out of the office.

I have been working at Flower Mound, TX part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's really easy to get to know everyone, staff is kept pretty small in rec services. Cross training was an option, so there were also a lot of shift scheduling options

    Cons

Most of the people I worked with already knew each other from school, so there are cliques. There can be tension between front desk and childcare (which is what I did). So watch out for that. Management is easily persuaded.
