Good pay and benefits, there is always overtime available , some co-workers help making the long hours more enjoyable. Some supervisors really care about you and try to help you out as much as possible.
Cons
Mandatory overtime, have not seen all shifts fully staffed in years, new management is becoming more and more micromanagement. You are just another disposable employee, you do what they tell you because they are the bosses or you get in trouble.

The company views your status as independent as a formality. In practice the company does not hold in high regard the legal arrangement of people operating as independent contractors. Therefore if there is ever any problem with the company, they have no problem getting rid of you.
