I have been working at Floyd Medical Center full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Well managed service that is always customer based. However, the training department is by far the best around. Then the equipment can't be beat for our region.

    Cons

Lower pay for the amount of calls we run in a twenty four hour period. Honestly theres not many things we can complain about here.

I worked at Floyd Medical Center full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The only good thing about working here is the benefits and the pay and the Monday through Friday hours. The coworkers are awful and have no personality whatsoever and they bully and harass you

    Cons

Upper management does not need to be scared to report harassment issues to the HR department or to the CEO they let things Slide by without any recognition causing a lot of good employees to leave this has happened on and on numerous occasions and good employees have had to leave because of one particular employee that continues to cause problems.

    Advice to Management

Actually do something about the employee that is causing problems to other employees and actually get rid of him versus making other good employees that actually care about their job leave you may actually keep some good employees if you do something about this particular person. Nepotism is never a good thing

I worked at Floyd Medical Center full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The fellow employees are the only pros.

Management, demands on employees exceeds compensation, favoritism to the max, extremely political place to work, back to back 12 hour shifts without regard for the employee.

    Advice to Management

Empathize with your employees -they are people, not robots.

I worked at Floyd Medical Center full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Being an employee of this company. This company is taking over the northwest area.

    Cons

The managers only want high satisfaction scores. There needs to be more employees. A better nurse to patient ratio.

    Advice to Management

Get in the floor with your team and work WITH them. Too many meetings over nothing.
